Exploding Teacup Photograms, 1988

Hand printed photogram on photo paper. 4 x 10x12 inches



Three images of different profiles of a teacup cup were made on photo paper using the lamp of a photo enlarger. The fourth image was then produced by the light of an explosive charge placed in the cup. The blast from the explosion simultaneously illuminates and burns the paper as the image of the shattering teacup is also registered.
